Scheduling Reports

After a report has finished running, you can schedule it so that it will be emailed to you on a scheduled basis. A scheduled report will use the same parameters as defined at the time you first run the report. Date parameters will slide forward depending on the schedule period you selected. For example, if you run a report for January 5 through January 9 and then schedule that report for weekly delivery, the next scheduled report will use date parameters January 12 through January 16. Had you scheduled the report monthly, the next scheduled report would use data parameters February 5 through February 9. You should plan your data parameters to work intuitively with your scheduled preferences.

Scheduling a Report

This method should be used for reports that will contain large data-sets.

  1. Click the EPRO Analytics button.

  2. Select a report from the reports menu bar on the top of the page.

  3. After you have selected a report, you will notice a Report Parameters and Scheduler window in the center of the screen. This is where you will specify the parameters for the report you wish to run.

  4. Set all required parameters on the Report Parameters tab, which is selected by default.

  5. Select the Schedule for future radio button in the Run Option row.

  6. Click the Scheduling Options tab to select parameter and scheduling options for your report.

  7. Select your desired Output type.

  8. Click Schedule.

Viewing a Scheduled Report

  1. Reports > Reports Queue to view your scheduled reports.

    • If you are in the EPRO Analytics application, click the Reports Queue button at the top right to open a Reports Queuewindow.

  2. Reports that have already run will have a report icon.

  3. Reports which returned no records, likely due to invalid parameters, will display a status of Failed‐No Records.

  4. Click the report icon to open the prompt to save or open your report.

Previewing a Scheduled Report

This method should be used when designing a custom report or when running a report for a small data-set.

  1. Click the EPRO Analytics button.

  2. Select a report from the menu bar on the top of the page.

  3. After you have selected a report, you will notice a Report Parameters and Scheduler window in the center of the screen. This is where you will specify the parameters for the report you wish to run.

  4. Specify parameters you wish to include in your report then click the Run button.

  5. While your report is running, you will see a status bar at the bottom left of your screen.

  6. The report will render in your web browser, rather than needing to be downloaded and opened in an external program.

  7. To print, print page, or export use the corresponding icons on the toolbar.

    • Hover over these buttons to display a description of each one.

  8. To export this report, click the floppy disk icon drop down arrow to select an export format type.

    • Export versions include PDF, XLSX, CSV, and DOCX.
